Metro Energy was selected as the solar consultant for the Township of Morristown's 550 kW solar project at their Water Treatment Facility. Metro's responsibilities included preparing a feasibility report that included a financial analysis, preparation of the bid specification, administration of the bid process, and project management. The solar energy project at the Morristown Wastewater Treatment Plant consists of 3,200 photo-voltaic panels mounted on the ground and on roofs in various locations throughout the 18-acre site. The project is rated at 700 kW DC power and will produce approximately 850,000 kWh of electricity per year. Metro Energy Solutions is an independent energy services and energy consulting company headquartered in West Caldwell, New Jersey.
