Metro Energy Announces Agreement with Cumberland County, NJ

March 22, 2007, Bridgeton, NJ – Metro Energy Solutions today announced that the County of Cumberland, New Jersey has approved a resolution authorizing Metro Energy Solutions to begin the first phase of a county-wide energy efficiency initiative throughout approximately 75 of the County’s buildings.  The first phase of the project involves an engineering analysis of the county’s facilities to evaluate the existing conditions of the electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as other infrastructure items such as water, windows, and roofs.  Once the evaluations of the existing systems are completed, Metro Energy Solutions will make recommendations for improvements, and provide the County with a report that will outline project costs, annual energy and maintenance savings, and a life cycle cost analysis for each of the recommendations that factors in available grant and rebate monies.  The technologies that will be included in the analysis include cogeneration, solar, lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), and digital building controls.
