Metro Energy Solutions Hired by The State of New Jersey to Conduct an Energy Assessment of the Governor's Mansion at Drumthwacket

July 20, 2007, Princeton, NJ – Under their agreement as the State of New Jersey’s energy consultant Metro Energy Solutions has been tasked with performing an energy assessment of the Governor’s Mansion (Drumthwacket) in Princeton, New Jersey.  Metro Energy Solutions will make recommendations for energy efficient improvements, and provide the State with a report that will outline project costs, annual energy and maintenance savings, and a life cycle cost analysis for each of the recommendations that will include available grant and rebate monies.  The technologies that will be considered in the analysis include lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), digital building controls, photovoltaic power systems and energy efficient roofing (cool or green roof).
