Metro Energy Solutions Announces Completion of Occupancy Sensor
Project with Ricoh Corporation
West Caldwell,
NJ - January, 2003 – Metro Energy Solutions announced today it has completed
four facility improvement projects for Ricoh Corporation, headquartered
in West Caldwell, New Jersey. The projects involved installing lighting
controls in Ricoh’s New Jersey facilities. The four facilities included
in the project are Ricoh’s United States headquarters in West Caldwell,
the national service distribution warehouse in Fairfield, a technical lab
in Pine Brook, and an office building in Montville. Metro Energy
Solutions was able to obtain utility rebates on all three projects, which
enabled Ricoh to reduce the net project cost for each of the projects.
Ricoh Corporation contracted Metro Energy Solutions, a full-service energy
services company based in West Caldwell, New Jersey, to assist them in
assessing the existing mechanical and electrical equipment in their facilities
throughout the country, and make recommendations for improvements based
on cost-effectiveness. Metro Energy Solutions’ services are assisting
Ricoh in its goal of becoming a certified ISO14001 company. "We have
had a long-standing business partnership with Ricoh Corporation," stated
Robert Ragozine, Metro Energy Solution's Chief Operating Officer.

Metro Energy Solutions is currently
in the process of evaluating other energy efficient projects at Ricoh.
