Metro Energy Solutions Announces Agreement with Emerson Retail Services for Tractor Supply Company, July 2005

West Caldwell, NJ - July, 2005 – Metro Energy Solutions announced today it has entered into an agreement with Emerson Retail Services, a division of Emerson Electric, to install Computer Process Controls (CPC) energy management systems in approximately 600 Tractor Supply Company stores located in over 30 states throughout the country.  Tractor Supply Company is the largest retail farm and ranch store chain in the United States, with annual sales exceeding one billion dollars. The company employs more than 7,800 team members and is headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee and is traded on the NASDAQ exchange.  Tractor Supply Company has been aggressively growing its business, and anticipates adding as many as 100 stores per year over the next few years.  They are planning on opening stores in New Jersey beginning in late 2005 or early 2006.

Under its agreement with Emerson Retail Services, Metro Energy will be responsible for providing the necessary manpower and project management needed to install the CPC energy management systems throughout the entire chain of Tractor Supply Stores, by the end of March, 2006.  One of the requirements of the project is to keep pace with the aggressive installation schedule while not interrupting Tractor Supply’s retail business operations.  Emerson reviewed the qualifications of several companies, and decided on Metro Energy Solutions based Metro’s proven track record of outstanding service and commitment to detail, with such clients as Ricoh Corporation, Loews Cineplex Theaters, the New York Yankees, and Comcast Cable.

“This is a great project for us to be involved with,” stated Robert Ragozine, COO of Metro Energy Solutions.  “Tractor Supply is an impressive company that believes in the benefits of controlling energy costs.  Everyone we have dealt with, from the executives through the employees in the stores, has been terrific.  This will be a challenging project that will require us to work with each store manager so we can coordinate an around-the-clock work schedule, with most of the work taking place during off hours.  When the project is in full swing, we will be installing 15-20 stores per week.”
