Radio City Music Hall is one of the largest indoor theaters in the world. Since 1933 more than 700 movies have opened there and for decades America's most popular entertainers have thrilled audiences at Radio City. Radio City Music Hall hired Metro Energy Solutions to: 1) Upgrade their existing lighting system, 2) Reduce their energy costs through energy efficiency and 3) Obtain all available utility rebates. Metro Energy Solutions retrofit 1,144 lighting fixtures with energy efficient lamps and ballasts throughout the facility while maintaining the integrity of the light output and color rendition. Metro Energy Solutions worked with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority to capture the available utility incentives for this project. Radio City Music Hall self financed this project and will be able to achieve a 1.59 year payback due to the energy savings and utility incentives that Metro Energy Solutions was able to obtain for them. |
